Wizard Of Oz Information Session - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Musical Comedy Society will be holding an information session about their up-coming production of The Wizard Of Oz at their shed at the rear of the South Burnett Enterprise Centre complex at 6 Cornish Street, Kingaroy from 5:30pm to 6:00pm this evening. The SBMC normally produce one major musical comedy production every year and perform it over several days at Kingaroy Town Hall, but this year they'll be doing two (the other will be the classic "Jesus Christ Superstar", which will be in the earlier part of the year). The SBMC would like to hear from potential front-stage performers, as well as people who'd like to provide backstage help (eg: sound, lighting, costumes, make-up). Rehearsals will take place 1-2 times a week and the show will be performed on in the second half of 2017. More details? Email Craig Reiger. Note: If you can't make today's info session, a second session will be held on Thursday night at the SBMC's shed from 7:30pm to 8:00pm.
