Focus On You Community Health Expo - Murgon
- The South Burnett PCYC in Macalister Street, Murgon will be holding the "Focus On You" Community Health Expo from 5:30pm to 8:30pm this evening. The Expo will feature workshops on men's health, healthy thinking, chronic disease and gentle movement; local trade displays; and chef Matt Golinski from "Ready, Steady, Cook" as a special guest speaker. Sports Psychology Workshop - Murgon
- Wordsmith Emporium at 84 Lamb Street in Murgon will be hosting a Sports Psychology Workshop from 6:00pm to 9:00pm this evening, which will teach guests techniques to calm their body and prepare their minds for high-level performance (ie how to "psych up" before a sporting match), amongst many other things. The workshop is being run by the State Government and while it's free, places are limited. You can reserve a place by registering online.

Nanango Scout Club Meeting
The Nanango Scout Club - which meets every Tuesday night during school terms - will be holding its regular weekly meeting at the Scout Den at 40 Henry Street, Nanango (just next to the police station) from 5:30pm to around 7:00pm tonight. The group currently has three sections in operation: Joeys (for children aged 6 to 8 years); Cubs (8-11 years); and Scouts (11-15 years). Danny's Diner - a free community dinner - will be held at the Uniting Church Hall at the corner of Alford and Youngman streets in Kingaroy from 5:30pm to 7:00pm tonight. The dinner is an initiative of the Kingaroy District Ministry Association for the benefit of anyone who's hungry or otherwise doing it tough.
