South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
School Holiday Activities - Murgon and Kingaroy
The South Burnett PCYC in Macalister Street, Murgon and Taabinga State School in Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy will both be running Spring school vacation activities today. In Murgon, the PCYC will be running an excursion to Kingaroy's Ten Pin Bowling Alley between 9:00am and 4:00pm today - a fully supervised activity for $20 per head. And at Taabinga State School, they'll be having a Boot Camp Day (ie organised physical activities with full supervision by qualified instructors). Kingaroy SES Training Night
The Kingaroy SES will be holding their regular Monday night training session at the Kingaroy SES headquarters in Glendon Street, Kingaroy (next to Kingaroy X-Ray) from 7:00pm to 9:00pm this evening. New members are always very welcome. More details? Phone 0428-741-274
Monday Evening Bingo - Blackbutt
Bingo games will be held at Nukku Nook at the head of the Blackbutt Rail Trail in Hart Street, Blackbutt from 7:00pm this evening (eyes down at 7:30pm sharp). Kittens In The Mall - Kingaroy
The South Burnett RSPCA will be in Kingaroy Shoppingworld with kittens all this week as a school holiday attraction for children. Their display will also be offering RSPCA merchandise, and stall staff will be happy to provide free advice about responsible pet ownership and the advantages of adopting RSPCA animals.
Wondai SES Meeting
The Wondai SES will be holding their regular Monday night training session at their shed in McCord Street, Wondai from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Meet The Council - Kilkivan and Goomeri
Gympie Regional Council Mayor Mick Curran and his fellow councillors will be holding two public meetings in Kilkivan and Goomeri today so that residents of both towns can meet them in person and raise any particular issues of concern they might have. The first meeting will be held at the Kilkivan Public Hall in Bligh Street at 4:00pm; and the second at the Goomeri Hall Of Memory at 6:00pm.
Alcoholics Anonymous - Wondai
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to help solve their common problems and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership, and AA isn't allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution.
