Little Shop Of Horrors - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Musical Comedy Society will be presenting the third performance of this year's production "Little Shop Of Horrors" at the Kingaroy Town Hall in Glendon Street, Kingaroy at 2:00pm this afternoon. Little Shop Of Horrors is a 1980s comedy rock musical about a hapless florist shop worker who raises a plant that feeds on human beings. The main characters are Seymour Krelborn, who runs the florist shop for his overbearing boss Mr Mushnik, and Seymour’s love interest Audrey, who wants to leave her abusive dentist boyfriend Orin. The show’s music, composed by Alan Menken in early 1960s rock and roll, doo-wop and Motown styles, includes several well-known tunes ... and as the play goes on, the plant steadily grows bigger and hungrier, eating one character after another. Tickets to see the show are $15 for this matinee, and they'll be available at the door.

According to military prosecutors, Lt. Morant retaliated for the death in combat of his commanding officer with a series of revenge killings against both Boer POWs and many civilian residents of the Northern Transvaal. Admission to the screening is $8, which covers the cost of venue and coffee, tea and scones at interval. More details? Phone Ringsfield House on (07) 4163-3345 or send them an email.
