QCWA Kumbia Branch Meeting And Get-Together
- The QCWA Kumbia Branch in Bell Street will be opening its doors at 9.00am this morning for a cuppa, followed by its monthly branch meeting at 9:30am. After this formality has been attended to, though, members focus on friendship and fun through sharing their skills in traditional and contemporary art and handcraft activities for the remainder of the morning and into the afternoon. - Want to know how to use your sewing machine? How to repair garments? Make some simple items? Follow a pattern? - The Tuesday night men's basketball competition will be running at the Kingaroy High School sports auditorium from 4:30pm onwards this evening. Five A-grade and six B-grade sides will battle it out, and spectators are very welcome.
Danny's Diner - Kingaroy
Danny's Diner - a free community dinner - will be held at the Uniting Church Hall at the corner of Alford and Youngman streets in Kingaroy from 5:30pm to 7:00pm tonight. The dinner is an initiative of the Kingaroy District Ministry Association for the benefit of anyone who's hungry or otherwise doing it tough.
