Goomeri Pumpkin Festival
The 23rd Annual Goomeri Pumpkin Festival will be held in Goomeri from 8:00am this morning through until around 4:00pm this afternoon. As usual, the 2019 Pumpkin Festival will feature a wide range of market and novelty stalls; all-day live entertainment; Giant Pumpkin and Best Decorated Pumpkin competitions; and the Great Australian Pumpkin Roll down Policeman's Hill at 2:00pm in the afternoon with a Lucky Spot prize of $1000 and lots of other cash prizes for section winners. Other things to look out for include cooking demonstrations; live entertainment; antique car and bike displays; billy tea, damper and stew in Dickinson Park (along with an all-day BBQ and lots and lots of food stalls); roving entertainers; and more. Kingaroy Lions Trail Ride - Benair
The Kingaroy Lions will be holding the second (and final) day of their popular annual, weekend-long Trail Bike Ride at Watercourse Dip north of Kingaroy today (turn at Ryke Fuel into River Road and follow the signs). The Ride offers Open, Novice and Pee Wee categories along with a raft of prizes. There's free camping onsite and entry fees are $75 for the Open, $50 for the Novice and $15 for the Pee Wee classes. Kilkivan Railway Markets
The weekly Kilkivan Railway Markets will be held in Lester Millar Park in Kilkivan from 7:00am until around 12:00 noon this morning. Open Mic Afternoon At The Fitzroy
The Fitzroy Hotel in Fitzroy Street, Nanango will be holding an Open Mic Jam Session from 2:00pm to around 6:00pm this afternoon, hosted by Mr Q. Anyone is welcome to put their name up on the blackboard and - when their turn comes - perform up to 20 minutes of originals or covers. All PAs, guitars and drums will be provided by Mr Q. Sunday Bingo - Wondai

Trad Bash - Nanango
The Barambah Bowhunters & Field Archers Association will be holding the second (and final) day of their annual Trad Bash at their headquarters in Bowhunters Road, Nanango this weekend - a weekend-long event where young and old can enjoy the traditional forms of archery using traditional archery equipment, including mock hunts and novelty rounds with 3D and 2D Vinyl targets. This year the Association are also adding a new level of fun by encouraging participants to come along in fancy dress (archery style, medieval or cosplay). Hivesville Country Markets
The Hivesville Country Markets will be held at the Hivesville Sports Grounds from 7:00am to around 1:00pm today. These family friendly monthly markets are held on the 4th Sunday of every month and feature a variety of stalls including fresh local farm produce, plants, crafts and lots of food. There'll also be mini auctions running throughout the morning and there's plenty of free parking in the grounds. Sunday Poker - Kingaroy

Helping Hands Charity Golf Day - Blackbutt
The Blackbutt Golf Club at 51 Langton Road, Blackbutt will be running a Helping Hands Charity Golf Day today, kicking off with a shotgun start at 10:00am and running to around 5:00pm. The Kumbia and District Historical Society's museum, located in the Federation Heritage Centre behind Kumbia Hall in Bell Street, will be open from 1:30pm to 3:30pm this afternoon. Nanango Campdraft
The third (and final) day of the three-day 2019 Nanango Campdraft will be held at the Nanango Showgrounds in Cairns Street from early this morning until late this afternoon. This year's campdraft was rescheduled from its normal date due to wet weather, but large numbers of competitors are still expected for the event. Admission to the campdraft is free for spectators, and food and drink will be available from the Showgrounds' canteen.
Timbertowns Woodworkers - Blackbutt
The Timbertowns Woodworkers group will be holding their regular Sunday morning meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:30am until around 12:00 noon today.
