South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Hivesville Country Markets
The Hivesville Country Markets will be held at the Hivesville Sports Grounds from 7:00am to around 1:00pm today. These family friendly monthly markets are held on the 4th Sunday of every month, and feature a variety of stalls including fresh local farm produce, plants, crafts and lots of food. There'll also be mini auctions running throughout the morning and there's plenty of free parking in the grounds. Kilkivan Railway Markets
The weekly Kilkivan Railway Markets will be held in Lester Millar Park in Kilkivan from 7:00am until around 12:00 noon this morning. Timbertowns Woodworkers - Blackbutt
The Timbertown Woodworkers group will be holding their regular Sunday morning meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:30am until around 12:00 noon today. Freshwater Open - Boondooma Dam
The final day of the weekend-long Freshwater Open fishing competition will be held at Boondooma Dam today. This is a team fishing competition where no more than four rods can be in use at any time, and the only permitted fishing techniques are cast and retrieve or trolling. The Freshwater Open offers prizes for the most fish caught; the biggest Bass; the biggest Golden Perch; and the longest fish. There'll be a morning round today, followed by the final weigh-ins. Storm Recovery BBQ - Kumbia
The South Burnett Regional Council and BIEDO will be hosting a free Storm Recovery Community BBQ at the Kumbia Memorial Hall in Bell Street, Kumbia from 3:30pm to 7:30pm this afternoon. The BBQ is for the benefit of people who suffered damage in the Boxing Day and New Year's Eve storms and in addition to the chance to meet and talk with other storm victims in an informal setting and enjoy a great BBQ dinner, the event will also provide information about what resources and support is available to help residents with their storm recovery efforts. Note: A second community BBQ will be held at Mondure Hall next Sunday.
Finding Dory - Kingaroy
A special screening of the popular Pixar animated comedy Finding Dory will be held at Kingaroy's Satellite Cinema in Short Street at 10:00am this morning. Sunday Poker - Kingaroy

Bows & Beats Music Workshop - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Community Orchestra will be holding the second day of a two-day, RADF-funded music workshop program for intermediate to advanced string and percussion players, led by visiting tutors Gwyn Roberts (strings) and Jeff Jarrott (percussion). Less confident musicians are welcome to observe. Today's workshop will be held from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Uniting Church Hall in Alford Street, Kingaroy. BSMX Coaching Day - Kingaroy
CANCELLED: The South Burnett Junior Motorcycle Club will be holding a BSMX coaching day from 9:00am to noon this morning at their track behind Kingaroy airport. It will be held in March on a date to be determined.
Swim-A-Thon - Murgon
