2014 UAV Challenge - Kingaroy
The second day of the five-day UAV Challenge (2014 Outback Rescue) will be held at Kingaroy Airport on the Goodger Road south-west of Kingaroy today. The Challenge is an international competition for unmanned aerial vehicles (ie robot planes) and is open to all Australian high school students, university students and UAV enthusiasts. This year teams will be competing for up to $50,000 in prize monies between now and Friday, and spectators are very welcome to go out to Kingaroy Airport to watch the action close-up. Today's activities will include competition flights between 7:00am and 3:00pm along with scrutineering flights between 4:00pm and 6:00pm. You can find out more details on the
