South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Spirit Of The Bush Heritage & Balladeers Muster - Boondooma
The second day of the 5-day Spirit Of The Bush Heritage and Balladeers Muster will be held at Boondooma Homestead at 8262 Durong-Mundubbera Road, Boondooma today. This popular annual campout event features lots of Australia's top bush balladeers and poets (48 will be appearing at the Muster this year) along with walk-up artists. The Muster routinely attracts 700 to 800 caravanners plus day-trippers, and in addition to bucketloads of non-stop great music there'll also be camp oven meals, a licensed bar, BBQ, stalls, displays of vintage cars and engines, photography and historical items. Tickets are $95 for the full five days of the festival, or $20 if you just want a day pass for today only (children under 15 are free). Thursday Farmer's Markets - Kingaroy
Growing The Burnett will be holding their Mid-Week Markets in Kingaroy today. The markets feature fresh food and crafts produced exclusively in the South Burnett, and are held in O'Neill Square in Haly Street, Kingaroy between 12:00 noon and 6:30pm. Winter Futsal Competition Sign-On - Kingaroy

Thursday Night AFL Training
The South Burnett Saints men's and women's AFL teams will be holding their regular Thursday night training session at Lyle Vidler Oval in Youngman Street, Kingaroy at 5:45pm tonight. Extra women's players are very welcome, and so are spectators.
South Burnett Computer Users Group - Kingaroy
The South Burnett Computer Users Group will be holding their fortnightly meeting from 10:00am today at the Orana Drop-In Centre at MacDiarmid Street in Kingaroy. The SBCUG is a not-for-profit group that aims to help seniors get the most from their computers. Beginners through to more advanced users are catered for with demonstrations and practical lessons. If you're interested in becoming confident using your computer, you're very welcome to come and learn in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The meeting starts at 10:00am with an hour's break for lunch from noon to 1:00pm, and then continues until around 4:00pm. Proston SES Training Night
The Proston SES group will be meeting at their shed at the corner of Collingwood and Nelson Streets in Proston at 6:30pm this evening for their regular weekly training night. New members are very welcome!
Murgon RSL Bingo

Birds Of A Feather Meeting - Kingaroy
The Birds Of A Feather Cancer Support Group will be holding their regular 4th Thursday of the month meeting at Kingaroy RSL in Markwell Street, Kingaroy at 10:00am this morning. This is a friendly, informal group of women who have (or had) cancer, as well as carers, and they get together once a month for a morning tea and chat. New members are very welcome! More details? Country Music Night - Nanango
An informal Country Music Night will be held at the Uniting Church Hall in Gipps Street, Nanango at 7:30pm tonight. The get-together is open to both spectators and performers, and the $2 entry fee includes supper. Everyone is welcome!
St Joseph's Bingo - Murgon
St Joseph's Parish Hall in Angel Avenue, Murgon will be hosting bingo games from 7:30pm this evening. There'll be $1000 in prizes on offer as well as a canteen and lucky bingo tickets. Proceeds will go to aid St Joseph's school and community works.
