QCWA Kumbia Branch Meeting And Get-Together
After a short break for the Festive Season, the QCWA Kumbia Branch in Bell Street will be opening its doors at 9.00am this morning for a cuppa, followed by its first monthly meeting for 2016 at 9:30am. After this formality has been attended to, though, members focus on friendship and fun through sharing their skills in traditional and contemporary art and handcraft activities for the remainder of the morning and into the afternoon. Brazilian Body Tone Workshop - Murgon
The South Burnett PCYC in Macalister Street, Murgon will be holding a Brazilian Body Tone Class from 4:30pm to 5:30pm this afternoon in their upstairs fitness studio. The class is based on the principles behind the well-known "Brazilian Butt Lift" and while the focus is on your lower body, it will help sculpt and tone your entire body in a fun, enjoyable atmosphere. Tuesday Morning Croquet - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Croquet Club will be playing croquet games at the rear of the Kingaroy Bowls Club at 141 Youngman Street, Kingaroy from 9:00am to 12:00 noon this morning. New members are always welcome and free lesson are available. More details? Phone Chris on (07) 4164-4380.
Tuesday Night Basketball - Kingaroy
The Tuesday night men's basketball competition will be running at the Kingaroy High School sports auditorium from 4:30pm onwards this evening. Five A-grade and six B-grade sides will battle it out, and spectators are very welcome. Tonight in A-Grade, Dream Crushers will play Raptors at 6:00pm; Dream Crushers will return to play Blue Team at 7:00pm; and then Thunder will play Stingers at 8:00pm. Spectators are very welcome!
Tuesday Night League Training - Kingaroy
Training for Kingaroy Red Ants U16, U18 and A Grade players will be held at T.J. O'Neill Oval in Youngman Street, Kingaroy this evening. U16s and U18s start training at 5:30pm, and A grade players at 6:00pm.
Nanango Scout Club Meeting
The Nanango Scout Club - which meets every Tuesday night during school terms - will be holding its regular weekly meeting at the Scout Den at 40 Henry Street, Nanango (just next to the police station) from 5:30pm to around 7:00pm tonight. The group currently has three sections in operation: Joeys (for children aged 6 to 8 years); Cubs (8-11 years); and Scouts (11-15 years). Country Crafters Meeting - Blackbutt

South Burnett TAG Meeting - Ironpot
The Southern Queensland Country regional tourism board will be holding a Tourism Advisory Group (TAG) meeting at Mulanah Gardens at 736 Deep Creek Road in Ironpot at 4:30pm this afternoon. The purpose of the meeting is to update South Burnett tourism operators on the RTO's marketing plans for the up-coming Autumn season, and all local tourism operators are very welcome to attend.
Proston Men's Shed
The Proston Men's Shed in the old railway station building in Railway Park on Rodney Street will be holding its regular weekly meeting today, kicking off with a cuppa at 10:00am. New members are always welcome.
Danny's Diner - Kingaroy
Danny's Diner - a free community dinner - will be held at the Uniting Church Hall at the corner of Alford and Youngman streets in Kingaroy from 5:30pm to 7:00pm tonight. The dinner is an initiative of the Kingaroy District Ministry Association for the benefit of anyone who's hungry or otherwise doing it tough. The South Burnett Chorale will be holding their regular Tuesday practice night at the Church of Christ Hall at the corner of Haly and Burnett Streets in Kingaroy from 7:00pm to 9:00pm this evening.
