South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Mosaic Workshop - Cherbourg
The Many Threads arts group will be holding the first day of a two-day Mosaic Workshop at the Ration Shed Museum in Barambah Avenue, Chebourg from 9:30am to 3:30pm today. During this two-day course (which will also run from 9:30am to 3:30pm tomorrow) participants will learn how to create beautiful mosaics out of smashed up or broken pottery, ceramics and glass. The $15 course fee includes all materials, morning tea and lunch. Course places are strictly limited to 20, though, so a booking is compulsory. Country Crafters Meeting - Blackbutt
The Blackbutt Country Crafters will be holding their regular Tuesday morning meeting at the Uniting Church Hall in Coulson Street, Blackbutt from 9:30am to 2:00pm today. School Vacation Activities - Murgon and Kingaroy
The South Burnett PCYC in Macalister Street, Murgon and Taabinga State School in Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy will both be running Spring school vacation activities today. In Murgon, the PCYC will be running a Drop In Day today, with XBox, PS and pool - all free. You can find out more about these by phoning the PCYC on 0428-227-057. And at Taabinga State School, they'll be running a Tech Day where children are encouraged to bring a piece of technology or a gadget along. Danny's Diner - Kingaroy
Danny's Diner - a free community dinner - will be held at the Uniting Church Hall at the corner of Alford and Youngman streets in Kingaroy from 5:30pm to 7:00pm tonight. The dinner is an initiative of the Kingaroy District Ministry Association for the benefit of anyone who's hungry or otherwise doing it tough. Tuesday Trivia Night - Kingaroy
Kingaroy RSL will be holding a Trivia Night at 6:30pm this evening (gaming starts at 7:00pm sharp). Cost is $2 per person for $60 in prize-money and teams of up to 6 can take part. More details from the RSL on (07) 4162-1755.
Tuesday Morning Croquet - Kingaroy

Tuesday Social Dancing - Kingaroy

Kingaroy Men's Shed
The Kingaroy Men's Shed will be open from 9:00am to 12:00 noon and 2:00pm to 4:00pm today behind the Salvation Army's headquarters at 44 Alford Street in Kingaroy. The shed is open to all men who'd enjoy the companionship of other men while undertaking woodwork, metalwork or similar projects or who'd just enjoy a chat. More details?
