Sunday Rugby League - Wondai
League fans should head to the Wondai Sportsgrounds on the Bunya Highway north of the CBD today, where this year's Mini Mods Carnival will conclude this morning with U14s and U16s games that will draw to a close around noon. After this, the local competition will stage an A-grade double header, kicking off with the Wondai Wolves playing Nanango's Stags at 1:00pm. They'll be followed at 2:30pm with a second A-grade game between Murgon's Mustangs and Kingaroy's Red Ants, and both matches should be well worth watching. A bar and canteen will be operating at the grounds and spectators are very welcome! Note: A planned U18s game between the South Burnett Eagles and Oakey that was to have been run today has been cancelled after Oakey forfeited. This has resulted in both A-grade games being moved forward.
