Ringsfield Film Society Movie Afternoon - Nanango
The Ringsfield Film Society will be screening a Sunday afternoon movie at their cinema - the old chapel in the grounds of Ringsfield House at 41-45 Alfred Street, Nanango - at 2:30pm today. This month's film is "Babe: Pig In The City", a heart-warming 1998 Australian-American comedy and the sequel to the 1995 film "Babe". The story focusses on the journey of Babe and the farmer's wife Esme to the fictional city of Metropolis to compete in a sheepdog herding contest, win first prize and save the farm from ruin, and all the hilarious misadventures they have on their trip. Admission to today's screening is $8 for adults and $2 for children which covers the cost of the venue and coffee, tea and a scone (or an ice cream for kids) at interval. Bookings are necessary to help plan the catering, though: phone Ringsfield House on (07) 4163-3345 or send them an email. You can also find out more about the Film Society on their Facebook page.
