Kingaroy QCWA Twilight Branch AGM
The Kingaroy QCWA Twilight Branch will be holding their Annual General Meeting at the QCWA Rooms next to Kingaroy RSL in Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy from 6:00pm to around 7:30pm tonight. The Twilight Branch is a new branch of the QCWA which is designed for working women and busy mums, and Dr Deborah Tellam will be a special guest speaker at tonight's meeting. Tuesday Night Basketball - Kingaroy
The second season of the Kingaroy Basketball Association's 2015 basketball competition will be kicking off at the Indoor Sports Stadium at Kingaroy State High School in Toomey Street this evening. Matches will kick off with Miniball (for players aged 5-8 years) from 3:45pm to 4:45pm, and Juniors (for players aged 9-14 years) from 4:00pm to 5:15pm. After this, matches for the the A and B grades of the seniors competition will run from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Potential new players and spectators are both very welcome! Note: A muster for the Women's Competition will be held at the same venue tomorrow night at 6:00pm. The competition itself will start on Wednesday, August 5 between 6:00pm and 8:00pm.

Danny's Diner - a free community dinner - will be held at the Uniting Church Hall at the corner of Alford and Youngman streets in Kingaroy from 5:30pm to 7:00pm tonight. The dinner is an initiative of the Kingaroy District Ministry Association for the benefit of anyone who's hungry or otherwise doing it tough.
