KCCI Meet & Greet - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be launching its first Meet & Greet for 2018 with a breakfast at Kingaroy's Oasis Motel from 6:45am to 8:00pm. Today's breakfast will be addressed by guest speakers Kathryn Stevens, from BaconFest; and James Darcy, from the South Burnett Regional Council, who will discuss the Kingaroy Streetscape Revitalisation project. A $10 meeting fee applies to cover the cost of the brekkie but everyone is welcome, whether they're KCCI members or not. South Burnett Chorale - Kingaroy
- The South Burnett Chorale will be holding their regular Tuesday practice night at the Church of Christ Hall at the corner of Haly and Burnett Streets in Kingaroy from 7:00pm to 9:00pm this evening. Farm Safety Workshop - Kingaroy
- The Queensland Farmers Federation will be holding a one day workshop in Kingaroy today help South Burnett farm businesses reduce risks and increase efficiency and compliance. The workshop is being funded by the Queensland Government and coordinated through the Queensland Agriculture Workforce Network, and its focus will be on providing farm employers and team leaders with practical information and resources to improve their workplace health and safety and people management skills. The cost of the workshop is $30 per person and more details and registrations can be made on the QFF website.
Nanango Scout Club Meeting
- The Nanango Scout Club - which meets every Tuesday night during school terms - will be holding its regular weekly meeting at the Scout Den at 40 Henry Street, Nanango (just next to the police station) from 5:30pm to around 7:00pm tonight. The group currently has three sections in operation: Joeys (for children aged 6 to 8 years); Cubs (8-11 years); and Scouts (11-15 years).
