Business Workshop - Kingaroy
South Burnett Directions will be hosting the third of six free weekly business workshops at Kingaroy TAFE at the corner of Geritz Road and the Bunya Highway from 5:45pm to 7:00pm tonight. Tonight's workshop topic will be financial management and a trained TAFE lecturer will be discussing the most important points about this topic that small businesses need to master. The Blackbutt Camera Club will be holding a meeting at the Uniting Church Hall in Coulson Street, Blackbutt from 4:00pm to 8:00pm this evening. The club meets on the first and third Wednesdays of every month except December and January. The first Wednesday is devoted to practical photography (bring your own camera and equipment) and the third Wednesday to a review of those images and talks and tips on software (bring your laptop), followed by a committee meeting at 7:00pm. The Nanango Playgroup will be holding its regular Wednesday meeting at the Nanango Darts Club at the corner of Elk and George Streets between 9:30am and 11:30am this morning. The playgroup is a group of mums, dads, grandparents and caregivers who meet together each week with their children (aged 5 years and under) for interaction and fun. - The Sister Dolores Carroll Training Centre at St Mary's Catholic College at 10 Kent Street in Kingaroy will be transforming into a "Man's Cave" between 6:30pm and 10:00pm tonight. Qualified instructors will be demonstrating the use of all the equipment in the centre - great stuff like lathes, drills etc - and if you're a man interested in restoring or manufacturing wood or metal products and socialising with other men who have similar interests, then this could be the place for you!
