St Patricks Irish Tea Party - Kumbia
Here's something different! The Kumbia Progress Association will be holding a special Irish Tea Party at the Kumbia Memorial Hall in Bell Street from 1:30pm (for a 2:00pm start) today. Guests can get to enjoy a scrumptious afternoon tea, live music from the Pleasant Pluckers (all the way from the Sunshine Coast) and a lot more scintillating entertainment. There'll also be a mini Green Elephant Stall with plants, cookery goods and other useful items; Paddy's Silent Auction; Luck Of The Irish raffles with great prizes; novelties; and a lucky door. Nanango Home Produce Share
The monthly Nanango Home Produce Share will be held in the grounds of Ringsfield House at 45 Alfred Street, Nanango from 9:00am to about 10:30am this morning. The share is for people who have excess home produce they would like to swap or gift to others (non-food items can also be swapped) and it has been organised by the South Burnett Permaculture group. Taromeo Country Music Club Social - Blackbutt
The Taromeo Country Music Club will be holding their second bi-monthly Sunday social for 2017 at the Blackbutt Golf Club in Langton Road, Blackbutt from 10:00am to around 4:00pm today. Entertainment will be provided by the visiting and guest artists. There'll also be multi-draw raffles, a lucky door prize, a licensed bar, plenty of food and refreshments, a licensed bar and - of course! - lots of great country music and dancing. Admission is still only $5 with bottomless tea or coffee and and free afternoon tea as well. Lunch will also be available for a small charge. Everyone is welcome!
Kilkivan Railway Markets
The weekly Kilkivan Railway Markets will be held in Lester Millar Park in Kilkivan from 7:00am until around 12:00 noon this morning. Timbertowns Woodworkers Meeting - Blackbutt
The Timbertown Woodworkers group will be holding their regular Sunday morning meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:30am until around 12:00 noon today. Kumbia Museum
The Kumbia and District Historical Society's museum, located in the Federation Heritage Centre behind Kumbia Hall in Bell Street, will be open from 1:30pm to 3:30pm this afternoon. Blackbutt Country Markets
The Blackbutt Lions Country Markets - run on the third Sunday of every month - will be held next to the Blackbutt Community Hall in Coulson Street, Blackbutt from 7:00am until around mid-day today.
