Wondai Country Markets
The Wondai Regional Art Gallery's popular monthly Wondai Country Markets will be operating at Coronation Park in Wondai's CBD from 7:00am to 12:00 noon today - a week earlier than usual because of Christmas. Today's markets will feature stallholders selling fresh fruit and vegetables, arts and crafts, useful knick-knacks and clothing. There'll also be live entertainment; lots and lots of other stalls selling great gifts and goodies; and special hand-made treasures from local artisans available from the Gallery's new "Studio" building just a short stroll across the park. The BBQs will also be firing up from 6:45am to dish out hearty breakfasts to early bargain hunters. Friendship Markets - Kingaroy
The third Saturday of the month Friendship Markets will be held at the Cheers Triangle end of the Kingaroy Showgrounds in Youngman Street, Kingaroy from 7:00am to around 12:00pm today. The Kingaroy Rotary Club and Kingaroy Show Society are now running the markets - which feature an array of arts, crafts, fruit and flower stalls - and they relocated from the Senior Citizens Centre to the Showgrounds two months ago so the markets can keep expanding.

Proston Men's Shed
- The Proston Men's Shed will be meeting at the old railway station building at Railway Park in Rodney Street, Proston for its regular Saturday morning meeting today, kicking off with a cuppa at 9:00am. The Stepping Stones - Wondai
Popular South Burnett entertainers The Stepping Stones will be performing at the Wondai Diggers Club in Mackenzie Street, Wondai from 6:30pm until late tonight. Sue and Geoff will be serving up Old Time and New Vogue dance numbers and country rock, and there'll be a bit of line dancing too. Meals will also be available from 6:00pm, and everyone is welcome! Bowls Club Bingo - Kingaroy

Disco & Karaoke Night - Kingaroy
- South Burnett Peace Of Mind will be holding a disco and karaoke night for people suffering from a mental disorder at the Uniting Church Hall in Alford Street, Kingaroy (opposite Shoppingworld) from 6:30pm to around 10:00pm this evening. Admission - which includes supper - is $5 for adults, $7 for a family and children free, and soft drinks will be on sale too.
