Proston Christmas Carnival
The annual Proston Lions Christmas Carnival will be held in Railway Park, Proston from 5:00pm to 9:00pm this evening. Organisers say this year's Christmas Carnival will be bigger and better than ever with an array of amusement rides and food stalls, a ham wheel, raffles, and a variety of other Christmas goodies on offer. Children can get to enjoy lots of free entertainment and free gifts, courtesy of the Carnival's sponsors (the Proston Lions, Proston Men's Shed, Hivesville Markets, Proston Round Table, the South Burnett Regional Council and community members). There'll also be mini golf, live music and carol singing - and Santa will be putting in an appearance too. Meanwhile, in nearby Blake Street, NB Inspirations, the Jacaranda Tearooms and Proston Health & Beauty will all be open for late night shopping from 5:00pm to 8:00pm so adults can take a break and get in some Christmas shopping while the children are being amused at the Carnival.
