South Burnett CTC - Working For Our Community
Women's Wellness Day - Proston
A Women's Wellness Day jointly sponsored by the Department of Social Services, Centacare South Burnett and BIEDO's "Beating The Blues" project will be held at Proston Town Hall in Rodney Street, Proston from 9:30am to around 1:30pm today. At this completely free event you can catch up with friends; hear from inspirational women who live in the local community; learn stress management and health tips; and get your photo taken with friends at the photobooth. Morning tea and lunch will be served too, but for catering purposes an RSVP is essential. You can make one by phoning Nicole at BIEDO on 0400-076-048, preferably by February 11.
Sing Australia Meeting - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy branch of the Sing Australia singing group will be holding their regular Monday night meeting at the Uniting Church Hall in Alford Street, Kingaroy (opposite Shoppingworld) from 7:00pm to around 9:00pm this evening. The group have a welcoming, inclusive and fun approach to singing and meet every Monday except for school and public holidays. KCCI Meet & Greet - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be holding its first six-weekly Meet & Greet for 2015 at the Commercial Hotel at the corner of Glendon and Haly Streets in Kingaroy at 5:15pm tonight (function starts at 5:30pm). Rod Richards, a Business Development Officer for Small Business Solutions (SBS) will be a special guest speaker at the meeting, and he'll be talking about the services SBS provides to small business owners, including the opportunity to get business assistance from accredited industry professionals. A representative from the South Burnett Regional Council will also be providing an update on Council activities, and there'll be brief presentations from local businesses as well. Wondai SES Meeting
The Wondai SES will be holding their regular Monday night training session at their shed in McCord Street, Wondai from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Monday Evening Bingo - Blackbutt
Bingo games will be held at Nukku Nook at the head of the Blackbutt Rail Trail in Hart Street, Blackbutt from 7:00pm this evening (eyes down at 7:30pm sharp). Timbertowns Touch Competition - Blackbutt
The second week of the Blackbutt-Yarraman Rugby League Club's touch football competition will get underway tonight at the Blackbutt rugby league grounds (ie Ian “Bunny” Pearce Oval), with Juniors (aged 5-14 years) kicking off at 5:00pm followed by Opens (men's, women's and mixed teams) at 6:00pm. This is a six-a-side competition and it will run on Monday nights for the next four weeks. Cost is $5 per person per game, and food and drinks will be available at the ground.
Kingaroy SES Training Night
