Valentines Day Dinner - Nanango
Historic Ringsfield House at 41-43 Alfred Street, Nanango will be holding a special Valentines Day Dinner from 6:00pm to 9:00pm tonight evening. Guests will get to enjoy a special menu crafted especially for the occasion, but bookings are necessary by February 8 because seating is limited. Valentines Day Dinner - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Hotel-Motel at the corner of Youngman and Haly Streets will be offering two different Valentines Day dinners tonight: a two-course dinner for $44.90 per head or a three course dinner for $54.90 per head, both from chewf's special menu and both with a complimentary beverage. Booking times are 6:00pm, 6:30pm, 7:00pm, 7:30pm and 8:00pm. You can secure one by phoning the hotel on (07) 4162-1677.
Valentines Day Dinner - Wondai
The Wondai Hotel will be holding a Valentines Day Dinner from 6:00pm to 8:00pm this evening. You can reserve a place by phoning the hotel on (07) 4168-5274.
Valentines Day Dinner - Coolabunia
The Whipbird Cafe at 21 Chaseling Street, Coolabunia will be holding a three course Valentines Day Dinner at 6:30pm this evening (when entrees are served, so arrive earlier). Guests can choose either a private table lit with candles or they can sit outside in the garden lit with fairy lights. There'll also be live music. Valentines Day Lunch Or Dinner - Kingaroy
Kingsley Grove Estate at 49 Stuart Valley Drive off the Bunya Highway south-west of Kingaroy will be offering Valentines Day lunches and dinners. For $35 per head guests can enjoy a glass of bubbly on arrival, a gourmet cheese platter, their choice of pizza, pavlova with seasonal fruit and wine ice cream and a chocolate and wine pairing. The Jacaranda Tearooms at 42 Blake Street, Proston will be serving up a Valentines Day Breakfast from 6:30am this morning. Valentines Day Dinner - Nanango
Nanango RSL in Henry Street, Nanango will be offering a three course Valentines Day Dinner from 6:00pm this evening, along with a complimentary beer/wine on arrival and great dancing music by the South Burnett's favourite saxophonist Tom Mackenzie. Murgon Men's Shed
The Murgon Men's Shed will be holding a meeting at their shed in Macalister Street, Murgon (the former Murgon Railway Station) today. The Men's Shed meets every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday to work on projects and new members are always welcome.
Wooroolin Scouts
The Wooroolin Scouts meet every Wednesday night during school terms at their den in Kate Street, Wooroolin from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. The troop is open to young people aged 6 to 18, and new members are always welcome.
Murgon Rotary Club Meeting

The Nanango Get Together Coffee Group will be meeting at Nanango Food Junction at 77 Drayton Street, Nanango at 11:00am this morning. Members of the group get together regularly for a coffee and chat, and new members 18 or older are always welcome, including visitors. The group meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 5:30pm, and the second and fourth Wednesday at 11:00am.
Timbertowns Woodworkers - Blackbutt
The Timbertowns Woodworkers group will be holding their regular Wednesday morning meeting at the Blackbutt Showgrounds in Bowman Road, Blackbutt from 8:30am until around 12:00 noon today. Probus Club Meeting - Nanango
Nanango's Probus Club will be resuming their monthly meetings at the QCWA Rooms in Fitzroy Street, Nanango (just across the road from IGA) from 9:30am to 11:30am this morning. The club meets on the second Wednesday of each month except January, and all meetings usually feature a guest speaker who talks on an interesting topic. Indoor Bowls & Cards Day - Kingaroy
The Kingaroy Senior Citizens Club will be hosting indoor bowls and cards (500) competitions at its centre on the corner of Avoca and Kingaroy Streets, Kingaroy between 9:00am and 4:00pm today. The Nanango Country Quilters And Crafts group meet every Wednesday at the Nanango Cultural Centre in George Street, Nanango between 9:00am to 2:00pm. Members can get to pursue a wide variety of crafts at these informal gatherings and the $3 meeting fee includes morning tea (but BYO cup and lunch). There's also usually a raffle as well.
