Community Pop-Up Shop - Proston

A Community Pop-Up Shop will be opening at 10:00am this morning at the Blake Street shops in Proston for early Christmas shopping. The pop-up shop will be stocking a good range of items, and all profits will be going to the Proston Village Community Group for further upgrades to CBD shops the group purchased several months ago. Volunteers have recently been replacing the shop's roofing and renovation works on the building's interior are progressing well. But it's not a completely cost-free exercise, so every little bit helps. PS: While you're in Proston you can also inspect the great range of Christmas gifts at the recently opened NB Department Store, then pop into the Jacaranda Tearooms for refreshments.

Nanango Probus Club Meeting

Nanango's Probus Club will be holding their monthly meeting at the QCWA Rooms in Fitzroy Street, Nanango (just across the road from IGA) from 9:30am to 11:30am this morning. Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other to help solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
