Nanango Country Lifestyle Expo
- The Nanango Show Society will be holding the second (and final) day of their third annual Nanango Country Lifestyle Expo at the Nanango Showgrounds in Cairns Street from 7:00am to 5:00pm today. The Expo will include - amongst many other things - the Dexter Cattle Show, the Queensland Alpaca Colourbration Show and a Team Penning Competition. There'll also be a $20 per head fleece dying workshop running at 9:00am this morning (fleece and dyes provided). Bored In Blackbutt Board Games
- The Blackbutt Board Gaming Club will be playing board games at Nukku Nook (the Rail Trail Head in Hart Street, Blackbutt) from 1:00pm to around 4:00pm today. Players can bring along their own games if they wish, and the $4 meeting fee covers a great afternoon tea and room hire. Highway Clean-Up - Nanango
- NaTDA (the Nanango Tourism & Development Association) will be holding their quarterly clean-up of the D'Aguilar Highway south of Nanango from 9:00am to around 12:00 noon this morning. NaTDA's "Adopt-A-Spot" is the stretch of the D'Aguilar Highway from the Tarong turn-off to Brown Street, and the group meet there four times a year to clean up litter as part of the "Clean Up Australia" campaign.
