Rock & Roll Dance Lessons - Nanango
Rock & Roll Dance Lessons will be held at the Heritage Pavilion inside Nanango Showgrounds in Cairns Street at 1:00pm this afternoon. The cost for a 2-hour lesson is $10 and beginners are very welcome. Classes are held fortnightly. More details? Phone Sue on 0418-759-330.
Lions Versus Rotary Charity Bowls Afternoon - Murgon
Murgon Lions will play off against Murgon Rotary members at a fun Charity Bowls Afternoon at the Murgon Bowls Club in Macalister Street today in a fundraiser to help a local couple with a very ill child. Individuals or teams are very welcome to compete (whether they're Lionsm, Rotarians or just people who wish they could be) and the $20 entry fee includes a BBQ dinner and a chance to win a prize. Goomeri Golf Carnival
The second (and final) day of the weekend-long Goomeri Golf Carnival will be held at the Goomeri Golf Club in Goomeribong Road at Goomeri today. Today's events are sponsored by BGA Agriservices and will feature a Gross Nett 1-9 nett and a 10-18 nett, along with novelties, pin shots and long drives. Sunday Afternoon Music - Wondai

Open Mic Afternoon At The Palace - Nanango
The Palace Hotel at 77 Drayton Street in Nanango will be holding an Open Mic Jam Session from 2:00pm to around 7:00pm this afternoon, hosted by Mr Q. Anyone is welcome to put their name up on the blackboard and - when their turn comes - to perform up to 20 minutes of originals or covers. All PAs, guitars and drums will be provided by Mr Q and there'll be Reel Pizzas on hand from 1:00pm to 7:00pm if you get peckish. Singh's Royal Cuisine at 200 Alford Street in Kingaroy (opposite Shoppingworld) will be holding a Punjabi Night from 11:00am to 11:00pm today to let you experience the exciting Indian market environment of food stalls, Bollywood movies on a screen, jewellery, henna designs, eyebrow threading and more at first hand.
