Kingaroy Women's Basketball Sign-On

Kingaroy Basketball will be holding a sign-on for season 1 of this year's competition at the Kingaroy High School sports auditorium tonight. Female players can sign on between 6:00pm and 8:00pm for training and competition, which will start next Wednesday, February 17. The South Burnett PCYC in Macalister Street, Murgon will be holding a "Seniors Having A Ball" exercise class from 8:30am to 9:30am this morning. The program is designed to address the issues that many have with ageing and it's not just for seniors! It provides light exercise to keep the heart and joints moving, improving coordination and mobility. It also provides a beginner platform to start any fitness activity on. The Sister Dolores Carroll Training Centre at St Mary's Catholic College at 10 Kent Street in Kingaroy will be transforming into a "Man's Cave" between 6:30pm and 10:00pm tonight. Qualified instructors will be demonstrating the use of all the equipment in the centre - great stuff like lathes, drills etc - and if you're a man interested in restoring or manufacturing wood or metal products and socialising with other men who have similar interests, then this could be the place for you! The Darling Downs West Moreton Public Health Network are inviting GP's, Practice Nurses and Aboriginal health workers to a "No Jab, No Pay" information session today to discuss new regulations affecting immunisations and their patients. The session will be led by Clinical Nurse Josie Crowe, Public Health Nurse Teresa McGorm and Public Health Physician Dr Penny Hutchinson, and it will be held at Kingaroy Hospital's Griffith University Training Room from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm, preceded by a lunch at 11:45am.
