19th December 2008: Hello everyone! South Burnett Online
will be taking a Festive Season break from
Saturday 20th December 2008
through to
Sunday 11th January 2009 inclusive. So we'd like to take
this opportunity to wish you a very
Merry Christmas and a
happy,
safe and
prosperous New Year.
Over the last 12 months 760,650 people have been kind enough to pay
us a visit. This is pretty remarkable for a regional area with a population
of less than 40,000 and to put it into perspective it's equivalent
to every man, woman and child in the South Burnett visiting us 19 times
each over the last year.
Of course, we don't just draw our readers from the South Burnett! Other people
who visit us include tourists who are planning a visit (we handled
over 63,000 queries through our Tourism Database last year); both
locals and visitors looking for South Burnett businesses to buy and sell
products (we handled around 360,000 business queries through our Business
Database last year); and - of course! - just about everyone who's
made the decision to move to the South Burnett and/or change properties in
2008 (we handled around 45,000 real estate queries last year too).
Next year we'll be celebrating our 9th Birthday (in March 2009) and
we have a number of very exciting new services to roll out for you.
In the meantime, though, we're going to take a short break to recharge our
batteries. See you again in 2009!
